Abstract In the present study, effects of sliding velocity sequences on friction and wear properties pure polyetheretherketone (PEEK) a PEEK hybrid composite were studied. It is demonstrated that tribological its show complex nature dependence in studied range. The coefficient independent previous histories. contrast, testing sequence exerts obvious impact at slow velocities. With respect to performance, specific rate exhibits strong only initial pv-levels.
